When should I replace my Boveda?

  • Depending on your container and its surrounding environment, you can expect Boveda to last from 2 to 6 months. Please do not try to re-activate your Boveda by submerging it in water or distilled water. Doing this will destroy the Boveda pack’s ability to provide precise humidity and may expose your cannabis/hemp to unhealthy humidity levels.

TIP: Write the date on new Boveda to remind you when it’s time to switch it out. Or do the touch test to determine when it’s time to replace your Boveda:

Boveda is expired if it feels:

  • Rock solid all the way through (Don’t wait until Boveda gets rock hard before you replace it, you might start to lose those precious terps.)
