God Bud is a potent indica dominant hybrid strain originally bred by Jordan of the Islands. Its parent strains are the Sativa Hawaiian landrace and hybrid Purple Skunk. It can be difficult to cultivate it since it grows to a maximum of 3 feet, prefers a cooler climate and requires the care of an experienced grower.

God Bud has a couple of awards to its belt – most notably winning first place for an indica category at the 2004 High Times Cannabis Cup. Its nugs are replete with bright orange hairs and abundant white crystal trichomes.

When properly grown, God Bud becomes fluffy in appearance and gets completely covered in trichomes. The buds also appear white from a distance due to the huge amount of trichomes it produces. Another distinctive characteristic of this strain is its impressive resin production.

God Bud has a herbal, musky taste and tropical fruit reminiscent of its Hawaiin lineage giving it a rather sweet aftertaste. It also has an earthy smell with traces of berry, lavender, and pine. It induces an uplifting cerebral high accompanied by a relaxation of the muscles of the body without being overwhelming and heavy. You should experience a state of euphoria and a fit of the munchies after consuming this strain.

    It’s good for the price, but when compared to other higher quality buds I’ve gotten from PG for $49-60/oz, this is on the lower end.
