Dragon strains are mostly hybrid strains and are relatively new to the cannabis industry. Some common varieties include a green dragon, blue dragon, red dragon and Dutch dragon.
Each strain has its own completely unique properties and can be either a sativa-based strain or an indica-based one.
For instance, the blue dragon, the red dragon and the Dutch dragon are all sativa strains, whereas the green dragon is an indica.
They all have various strengths, aromas, tastes, and smoke feel.
For instance, the red dragon is strong and provides a very elated, upbeat/giggly high, whereas the green dragon (being an indica strain) is more suitable as a form of pain medication.
In terms of colours and strengths, take the red dragon and the blue dragon as two examples. The blue dragon is a very dark purple. In fact, it is so dark that it looks almost black.
The blue dragon has a sweet, flowery scent and tastes to it. The red dragon, however, has a pungent yet sweet and spicy aroma and taste to it.
This Dragon is a pretty good pick, especially if you catch it on sale! It offers a nice, balanced high that's relaxing and comes on quickly, mellowing out over a couple of hours. People really appreciate the value for the price, and the buds can have some lovely dark green and purple hues. It's a solid daytime option for many.

Decent strain but the buds were sort of stale and dry. I got it at a discounted price so it’s possible that it could have been better had it been fresher.

The Dragon that I received from PG came pretty dry (not a big deal, humidity pack and jar helps that), but the buds were dark green/purple and nice looking. Smell wise, I’m not getting much besides a grassy smell, and the taste of this one is pretty muted. The effects I found to be very relaxing and strong. Overall, it’s pretty middle of the road.
